Pittsburg based pop recording and production studio Ivy League Sound came to me looking to launch their brand. I started off with the identity and logo. I will soon be rolling out a website and additional collateral.
Logo designed for The Coffee Ethic, Springfield, MO modern coffee shop. Having come off of seeing the documentary Helvetica I was inspired to create a timeless mark.
It’s always a scary, and sometimes can end in failure, to design your own logo. However I had a really clear vision and idea of what I wanted. This mark I believe sums up my work in a timeless way, yet revealing the fashion side to my photography. A modified version of the font Didot was used here. Didot is a common font amongst fashion publications and I felt that as I position myself to be primarily a fashion / lifestyle photographer, this represents that.
